Happy New Year everyone!
Can you all believe it is 2008 already? Aren't we supposed to have robots cleaning our homes and be flying in little hovercrafts instead of driving cars by now? Since I don't have that, but I do have this fancy new computer, I played with some of my new programs and made some of the pictures today fancy. Do ya like??? Crash a hard drive and look pathetic, you too can get a new computer. I always tease that the girls have Daddy wrapped around their little fingers but I have to be careful as well. I think he might have gotten broken in being whupped by me!!!
So as you can see we went sledding the other day. The kids loved it!! Even Skylar had a ball. That is right up until Abby rolled the sled, busted her lip open again and planted Skylar face down in the snow. Of course, Miss Smiley Pants Skylar, once the snow was wiped off was grinning like crazy ready to go again. Abby had yet another mouthful of blood so we had to pack it up and head on home. This snow is really staying around so I think we will take them again today after nap.
Big news from our house........to welcome in the new year Miss Skylar took her first steps today. She giggled and giggled as she took three little steps to me. Then she walked a few steps to Daddy and some to Abby. Weston wouldn't hold still long enough but I bet it won't be long and she will be chasing him down.
Keep checking the blog because I may have some cool new stuff in the next couple of days as I figure out the new technology in my world. Sorry to disappoint, it won't be pictures of my new hovercraft or robot maid. In a mother's world it may even be more exciting!!!
