Here you go....

Here are the pictures of the kidos playing with their new toys. Skylar had a great first Christmas. She quickly figured out the opening of the gifts and so was trying to open any gift she could find. The first picture is of her with her new dancing and singing toy. She loves to dance and so Santa brought her a toy that makes music and lights. She is a dancing queen now.

Abby loves all of her dress up stuff. We spent all day trying on different costumes and looking beautiful. I told her that maybe in a couple of weeks she can have a dress up party and have a couple of friends over to play, She already told me that she is going to wear the wedding dress and wants her little friend Logan to come too so that they can really get married. Yikes!!! Don't worry Logan, she got pink diamonds for Christmas so all you have to do is bring yourself.

Mr. Weston has been glued to his train table since 7:30 yesterday morning. For months, he told us he was going to ask Santa for a new train. Finally, the Saturday before Christmas the big day came. We went with my entire family to see Santa and put in our Christmas wishes. My dad, my sister and her family, my brother and his family and my family all crammed into the little Santa house in Clay Center. I am pretty sure Santa started thinking early retirement when he saw us all coming. Weston, who had been talking of nothing but asking Santa for a new train for months, in typical 2-year-old fashion buried his head in my shoulder and refused to even look at Santa. After all of the other kids had their turn I asked Weston if he wanted to try again to sit on Santa's lap. His head went even deeper into my shoulder. So we told the kids to tell Santa thank you and bye-bye and headed out the door. All of the sudden like Ralphe in A Christmas Story, both arms and legs went out and Weston caught the door refusing to leave. He was crying because he didn't tell Santa what he wanted. You could tell he was terrified to sit on Santa's lap but even more terrified to leave without telling Santa that he wanted a new train. So, I asked him if he would like to wait until everyone else left and then sit on Santa's lap and tell him. In a tiny little voice he said, "Yes, please Mama!" When the place cleared out he sat on Santa's lap and asked him, "Santa, may I have a new train please?" Santa asked if he had been good and told him he would see what he could do. We then tried to get a picture which Weston clearly didn't want to do. ON the way out the door in a very small little boy voice he said, "Thank you, Santa!" It was a very cute scene. So on Christmas morning there it was, a new train set. He only left the table twice yesterday and hurried back to it as soon as he could. I guess Santa scored this year!!!

So here we are, post-Christmas happiness enjoying our new toys and our full bellies. It is snowing like crazy outside adding fresh snow onto what we already had. The candles are lit. THe Christmas lights are on. Daddy will be home soon. All is right in our little world.

Have a great day!
