"Wow, Mommy! She looks like you. She is pretty!" -Weston (This said while he was browsing the new Victoria Secret swimsuit catalog. Man, I love this kid!!)
"Geez, that is the grossiest thing I have ever seen!" -Abby (moments after her and Weston had to bail out of the bathtub because he dropped the mother-of-all dog logs in the tub)
"Cool, huh?" -Weston (in response to Abby thinking his poop in the tub was gross. I guess the days of him trying to gross out his sisters have begun)
"Mommy, if God is Jesus's father and Mary is his mother, how can Joseph be his daddy?" -Abby (crap, how do I explain this one?)
"Hi, Dada!" -Skylar (Yup, that's right. She said it to him on the phone the other night)
"Mommy, I need to blow up!" -Weston (this is what he says now when he needs to blow his nose)
"Mommy, you look beautiful and you are a genius." -Abby (man, I love this kid!)
"Mommy drinks pop. That is why she keeps having babies." -Abby (This one said to my friend Carey who was clueless as to what it meant.)
"Mommy, why will your ears bleed if I don't quit talking?"-Abby (This one came after a tired Mommy asked her to please be quiet for a minute.)
"Mama, my dada take care of me"- Weston
"Mommy check this toy. If it is made in China I don't want it"-Abby
"Mama, I need hug!" -Weston
"Hey poop! Why are you still in my butt?" -Weston
Thanks for praying for Chelsea! Look at her grow now!!!
The Babes!
Here they are.......our world!
Below you will find some pictures of each of the kids. I plan on updating these regularly so that you can watch them grow. Each day they grow and change so much. Jamy and I are amazed everyday at the new things they do and say. We hope you will be as well.
Abby
Our oldest, Abby, is six. She continues to make me laugh, marvel, cry and want to scream all usually within the same hour! She is growing up so fast. Everyday it seems more and more of the baby girl disappears and is replaced by an amazing little girl. Abby is head over heels for horses. She loves to play imaginary games with her brother and sister. This year she is in first grade and is doing very well. Watching her continue to learn to read, write and discover new information is a constant source of joy for us.
Weston
Weston is everything a mother could want in a son. He is loving, sweet, ornery and all sorts of amazing. More days than not I am moved to tears by him and his gentle spirit. He started his new preschool last August. He is loving it. He is making friends and learning so much. He is so proud of everything he is learning. His biggest love though is trains. He LOVES everything train. His face lights up in a way that is pure magic whenever he is around them. You almost never see him without some train or train part in his hand.
Skylar
Skylar is almost two. My baby is gone and there is this wonderful person now. I can't imagine what life would be like without this crazy, funny, sweet child. Everyday I am amazed and a bit frightened by how smart she is. She is full of life and energy. Everyday is an amazing adventure with this one. She is always finding silly ways to make us all laugh. Skylar loves to dance and perform for us. She puts on her pretty dress-up dress and asks for music. The girl has some moves!
